We change the My Documents path in all sorts off office environments, some
that don't have domains for configuring group policies. Vista has removed
the "Properties" from Documents so the path cannot be modified so easily/

Thanks

Right click on My Documents > properties > location. How much easier could
it be?

Are you looking at Vista ?

"Location" does not exist on this Vista computer

I can choose "open" or "explore" that's it.

Thanks

Yes, Vista. Start > right click on Documents, etc. I have seven tabs under
properties

Interesting . I have no properties at all, as a local admin of the PC.

But I did find this . . . after you open Documents . . if you right click
the address in the address field at the top and select "Edit", and then set
the path.

I have found other differences between different users on this post . . .
there must be settings done along the way that change the interface.

Thanks
