My Documents error

Why do users sometimes get a list of all other users, instead of their own documents, when opening My Documents? A log off/on will fix this problem. It does not happen often. This is a network with win2000 clients and servers

I have seen this problem happen if the homedirectory is not defined right in AD. But the problem above happens randomly

Any idea

A list of all other *users* and not other users' *documents* ? How so?
Where does My Documents point to?
