I use My Documents as a file manager. Recently it stopped showing recently saved files - it shows the files the next day, not immediately like it did before now. How can I get the program to save immediately again, or s/ get a new text program?

Thank you,

Barry Karas

P.S. I have WinXP Pro w/ SP2

chkdsk stays open only about 15 seconds. It states there are 32 stages -- I
don't think it's getting through even the first.
