The view on my monitor has rotated 90 degrees. Happend while my 6 year old
was playing a game (she was fooling around i expect). She says she doesn't
know what she did. I can't figure out how to get it back...anyone have any
suggestions?
Thanks

Hi,

Right click on the desktop and select properties.
Click Settings - Advanced, and look through the tabs and properties for a rotation setting
and adjust it back to normal.

Control Panel|DISPLAY|SETTINGS|ADVNACED|ADAPTOR

Click the various tabs and submenus and look for a page that allows rotation.

Thanks I appreciate your help.
Unfortunatly I and another have tried that and there is nothing indicating
rotation or orientation under the ADAPTOR tab. I just don't know where else
to look. I will try the links you gave below.

If you have NVidia Desktop Manager applet in Control Panel, open it and
click the ENABLE button (if not already enabled).
Click the HOTKEYS tab. Click the + sign to the left of DISPLAY MODE and
choose the ROTATE item.

I just did a search in this newsgroup for anything containig the word
rotation, and stumbled upon a post from someone who had the same problem...i
turns out there is a key combination that will solve the whole thing.
[Ctrl,Alt and the various arrow keys] will re-orient the screen in various
directions!!
Go ahead, try it...mine is back to normal!!!
Thanks to everyone!!

Depends on what video card you have. This is not a windows feature but added features from the video card mfg.

Hi,

Those key combinations are video adapter specific. What video management software do you
have installed?
