My digital camera won't work

I installed the driver on my windows XP home as per
product instructions but when I try to use it, I get
different errors depending on what I'm trying to do. Upon
launching my camera application it immediately
says "Camera connect failed". If I bring up the new
hardware install wizard, it says "Dual mode camera SL310
has not passed windows logo testing". I know the driver
is already installed and that the camera is physically
connected. It shows up in the device manager with a
yellow "!". Should I just go ahead and force the wizard
to proceed? It warns that it could destabilize my
operating system. I installed this same software and
hardware on a windows 2000 system with no problems.

Have you checked the manufacturer's website to see if there are driver and
software updates and whether or not they are supporting the camera in XP.
You've moved to a new operating system, you need to check for updated
drivers.

Thanks for your reply, Michael.

I checked their website and it says it's supported on XP.
They don't seem to have any technical help at all. Any
other ideas?

Did you check their website for updated drivers or software?

Beyond that, you may need to contact their phone tech support.
