my cp will not power down after installing XP

if i uninstall xp will my pc power down fully? will it cause any harm to
the system?
and how do you uninstall xp if it is not in your add or remove programs.

Hi,

Uninstalling WinXP is only an option if you originally upgraded from
Win98/WinME and certain conditions apply. What are you trying to achieve?

Thanks for replying .. I have put xp on my pc ...up graded from win98. I
just wanted my pc to power down... any way possible.
