on My Computer when i double-click on the drive letter
for my hdd, which is, C: what happens is that it brings
out a search page. if i right-click on drive letter C the
first option on it's sub menu is Search, next is Open.
how can i make Open the default?
 
Type in Start Run
regsvr32 /i shell32

Don't use Filetypes to play with folders. It's a bug in that dialog.
