I have Windows 2000 Professional.
While using my computer on the internet, my computer will suddenly cease up.
I can not move the mouse, and none of the keyboard buttons will work.
Control/Alt/Delete does nothing. The only think I can do is hold the power button down and turn the computer off.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and what I can do do fix it?
Also, I have Explorer 6.0
Thanks for any assistance you can give me!!!

After the computer restarts, take a look in the Event Viewer. It might give
a warning or information on the problem. Check the logs for both the System
and Applications. Also, what was the computer doing when it freezes? What
apps were running? Any one application causing the computer to freeze? Or
any particular Internet site?

Thanks for your suggestion
I've checked the event log like you said, but... it's not really telling me anything
If I look at System Log, all of the errors list the source as: Server, Dhcp, and Service Control Manager
If I look in the Security Log, there is nothing there. If I check the Application Log, all of the errors list the source as: Norton AntiVirus, Userenv, EventSystem, and a few otheres. Does that tell YOU anything? Because I have no idea what all of it means. There are Warnings listed in each as well. THANKS AGAIN!!!
