Hi.
Setting up new computer.
When I hold the left mouse button down and scoll down is takes for ages to
highlight the records.(Access 2003)
There is an adjustment to scoll per page? in the registry which I can't
find. Works perfectly on my old computer.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Try shift-pagedown.

What are you trying to accomplish by doing this? Using table datasheets and
manually selecting records is sometimes necessary, but I'm wondering if some
sort of action query might be better for the task - if I knew what the task
was!

I agree with Mr. Vinson that there is a probably a better way to do what you want to using a query... However... here's a method I use from time to time to select a block of rows.

1) Select the last record of the block,
2) Hold the shift key down,
3) Select the record that starts the block.

This will work, but is much, much slower than a delete query...

I should add, assuming you want to delete the records... That's what I typically use it for, but only in very special cases... A query is almost always better...
