When I'm on a site and I refreash an aleart message comes up. When that
message comes up it makes a loud beep. Though my speakers are off, it still
makes a loud beep. Is there any way I am able to turn this off?

They have internal speakers!? o.O, How do I do that? But isnt there a way to
turn it off from the computer sides?

Device manager, View/Show Hidden Devices/Non-Plug and Play Drivers/Disable
Beep.

P.S. Where do you think the POST beep comes from if not from an internal
speaker??

No. There is one, singular, internal speaker. Your sound software may be
configured to run through the PC speaker as well. Somewhere in that sound
configuration software is a way to disable it in most cases.

POST (Power On Self-Test) occurs when first turning on the computer. As
part of the test, the PC sends a signal to the internal speaker to make it
beep. The user listens for this beep, indicating this speaker is operating
correctly. The PC cannot determine if the speaker is working or not, the
user must determine this by listening. The bios may send a series of beeps
coded to indicate an internal configuration problem. Disconnecting the
internal speaker will prevent the user or technician from hearing these
coded beeps.

The purpose of the "beep" IS NOT to test the speaker, but to let you know
that there are NO problems with the computer. If the speaker did not beep,
you would never know.

If you knew as much as you think you know,
You would realize that you don't know what you thought you knew!

that beep is probably coming through the motherboard/system speaker (not
those connected to your sound card).
You can "mute" that speaker through the sound volume control.

Actually you should be able to "mute" the PC system speaker through the
sound volume control.
