My Computer doesn't list new 2nd HD

After installing a new 120 HD, I went to disk management
to format. However it was not listed. I went to device
manager and it was listed. How can I get XP to recognize
or list this new hard drive so i can formant? It is in
bios/ or WinXP Pro?

Go to

Control Panel\Administrative Tools\Computer Management\Storage\Disk
Management

And if you can see your secondary hard disc listed in the top box, select
the drive and right click your mouse and select: Change Drive Letter and
Path..

Select a drive letter and it will come out.
