My clip art picture is not showing up in the document.

I selected a picture to insert into a document and it is not showing up. I
have the free trial of Microsoft Office.
 
Ensure you are in print layout view. Uncheck tools > options > view >
picture placeholders.
If that doesn't fix it, update the display driver and/or reduce the display
hardware acceleration.
The fact that this is a trial is irrelevant. The trial will work as a full
Word version for the duration.
