My Browser's being Hi-jacked

This is really hacking me off!!
Norton A.V. picked up a couple of trojans on my system,
couldn't repair them so quaranteened then deleted them.
I thought all was ok then my browser started getting
hijacked and I get the following pages showing:-
http://c.coolshader.com/download/index.html
C:\windows\dl.html
So again I do a full system scan with Norton and remove
the crap and also run Ad-Aware and Spybot and remove
whatever they found.....still happening!!!
Update all virus definitions run the scans in safe mode
(with system restore switched off), remove the crap and
guess what.....still happening and now no restore
points!!!
What can I do???? any help appreciated.

You should look for a small utility called CWShredder. It
will go through your system and remove some of the most
common hijack programs out there. Do your own research
about it and pick a trustworthy provider. I have it
available on my website (http://www.cmwebworx.com) in the
downloads section. It has worked for me, quite well. You
might also want to look at Browser Hijack Blaster, which
is another small program that will warn you if a BHO is
being installed, or if your start page is being reset. It
will give you the option of accepting or rejecting the new
setting.

sounds like we are having similar problem and have tried
identical things to fix same, with no results. I did go
to AVG, McAFEE, Symantec web sites but could find no
references to this. hope someone has an answer - will let
you know if i hear of one.
