My Access database keeps giving the message "Record was deleted"

My database all of a sudden started popping up the message "Record was
deleted" any time I try to do anything. If I hit the OK I get #NAME? in all
my fields. THis is happening in the forms, and the queries. It doesn't let
me open the tables in datasheet view.

Your database is corrupted, and may or may not be salvagable.

MAKE A BACKUP, now, if you don't have an older working backup. You may
need it!

Then, open it and try Tools... Database Utilities... Compact and
Repair Database.

If that doesn't help, see the suggestions at

MDB is crap, use ADP against MSDE.

MDB isn't reliable enough to hold water; if you care enough about your
data to make a database; use a database that works.

like MSDE or SQL Server.
