For the record, Hostsman did a great job (updating is virtually instant) and
now shows 15,363 names.

Also, it's nice to see the system on its toes, with Defender popping up and
saying 'Oi! Do you want me to allow this hosts file change or not?'; and
then when I run AVG's system areas test it jumps up with a big scary red
WARNING!!! Somebody's messed with your hosts file!! Or words to that effect.
Interesting that AVG's resident shield doesn't interfere with or offer to
block the hosts file change, whereas Defender does. That's one advantage of
having both running.

[Unfortunately AVG goes on to record the source of this blip as a 'Virus' in
its event history, which is a bit tough on Hostsman I think! You'd think
Grisoft would have got these basic communication issues sorted by now!]
