MVP HELP Vista 2007 Contacts and Email pst files

Just purchased new HP pavillion with Microsoft 2007 Basic (OL, Word, Excel).

I have two pst files exported from my 2003 OL one is for email inbox and the
other is for my contacts.

Please provide step by step dummy help for me as I'm pulling my hair out to
install them on my 2007 laptop.

Also; don't export to a pst-file but simply transfer the original pst-file.

Dear user

I am using this service for the first time, so forgive me if all is not
correct.

I have copied the pst file of microsoft outlook to a flash disk and moved
it to my new
computer with vista. I cannot get it opened or imoported. The open option
is not aqvailable and the import option does not work for microsoft outlook
as it gives the error message saying message canot be importrd from the MAPI
Clinet.

Can you help please?

What do you mean the "open option" is not available?
It is on the File Menu. What happens when you use it?
Did you remove the read only attribute from this file?
