When music plays in a ppt show, the sound clip isn't actually part of the
show file, it rides along side (separately) on the same computer hard drive.
When the show (or slide) starts, ppt reaches out to the hard drive and plays
the music clip in another file. When you email the ppt show, you have to
also email the sound clip file (.wav or .mp3) with it so it has something to
reach out and play when a show or slide comes up for display. Hope that
helped.

You can embed wav files up to 50 Mb in PowerPoint presentations and with a
bit of trickery mp3 files.

See

If you have other file formats then you should have both the sound file and
the presentation in the same folder, insert the sound and email the whole
folder.

You might also want to look at PFCExpress (free) which does this for you.
