unable to add video (music) in my site... I did get the add on working on my
site also for mp3's, however I would like to place a music video on the site
also. I've downloaded one so far thru itunes, and when I place the video on
the website, it shows up in a little square, no video or sound? Any
suggestions....
Thanks Sally

is the video/music from iTunes resticed? All files that I know of have DRM
and can not be played on anything but your computer and iPod(aka iCrap)

It must be, not sure...I'm not sure that the video even works though on the
front page, I have the video from dell that came with the computer and it
won't do anything either..

To follow the steps on putting a video in on front page, I get nothing other
than that little small box, looks like a thumbnail when a picutre won't load

Hi Joe,
The music video I'd like to get is 'Breakdown' by Jack Johnson, I have
found it on widows media, yahoo and aol...however I have not downloaded this
one since the other one that I do have won't work (thru itunes), I didn't
want to pay again to download another one without making sure that I could
use the video function on Front page, so that's why I was trying to use the
dell one, just to see. I'm not sure what the url would be for that? Do you
have any suggestions on any of this??

You will most likely be breaking the law if you download any video or music, and then place it on
your web site for other to view/down.

yikes! I'm not wanting that, I wasn't aware that you couldn't have a music
video just as an added feature to your website. I've seen it in other
places, so I just assumed it you paid to download it, you were ok. I'll just
put a link maybe then to the website.

I agree with Thomas, from what you are telling use what you want to do.
That is illegal, what it sounds like what you are doing is what Kazza and
other p2p programs do. This may not be your intension. If you want to use
someones music/video on your site you would need to ask (the artist) for
permision. I am not sure if this is what you are trying to do.

No, that wasn't my intension at all, so I'll forget the idea. I thought if
you paid for a video that you would be able to display it - I had no idea,
that you couldn't use a video without breaking the law. I had already sent a
email to "Jack Johnson's website" before I started in writing here, asking if
he knew how I could download his video for my site I haven't heard back yet.
I think I'll just quit that idea now. Thanks for the info....

Hi Sally-
I have seen several companies allowing you add music videos to your website.
They host the video and give you a script that you add to your site. They do
then put a small ad/link below the video. Surprisely some of the ads are very
unintrusive. I cant recall the website but do a search on google and yahoo.
This way is legal.
search parameters:
music video for your website

Play around with search terms and you will find the service. I will look
quickly and add a link if I find it.

I found several companoes offering videos for your website. Use Google.

Here is a link:

Here is there code you need to add for Breakdown. It looks like some of the
parameters are adjustable. Read though the code and find out more info at the
companies website.

<div align="center">Breakdown<div align="center"><div id=vpdiv><embed

type="application/x-mplayer2" width="300" height="300" ShowControls="1"
ShowStatusBar="0" AutoSize="true" loop="true" EnableContextMenu="0"
