music not playing from cd

I did a slideshow with powerpoint 2003 and have background music inserted. On my computer, it plays just fine, but when I package for cd, and play on another computer, it won't play the background music. Any thoughts? Also, is it possible to burn the presentation to a DVD, because I am not seeing that option anywhere?

PowerPoint doesn't have a function for preparing your presentation of DVD.
