Music in pps presentation

I have added music clips to a presentation. When saving in pps & send it by
e-mail, when opening, the music does not play. In Custom Animation, I already
programmed it to sound automatically, but still no music. Also, I've checked
the time line, but nothing. Something I can do?

If the music file is other than a .WAV file it will have to accompany the
email. WAV files are the only sound file that gets embedded into a
PowerPoint presentation.

What tohlz said, plus consider zipping the folder you created (that contains
the PPT and linked music).

Probably the link has broken.
What sound format are you using? If the music is in wav format, you can embed
the music into the presentation. If you are using other format, you can also
try to convert the music into wav format using sound convertor such as Free
CD-DA Extractor 4.8 (
http://www.download.com/Free-CD-DA-Extractor/3000-2140_4-10327914.html ). By
doing so, the music will be embedded
into the presentation (preventing the link from breaking) and you do not
have to email the music.

Alternately for non-wav format,
Create a new folder and move the ppt and music into the folder.
Now, open the ppt file, delete and reinsert the music to create a pathless
link.
Then, save your presentation.
Email both the presentation and music.

Read about how to embed your music into the presentation and other related
information here:

I've just checked & the music is in MID format. How come, due that it is a
clipart from office? Do I still have to convert it?

Thanks!

If it is a midi, One possible way is to get the midi out from the clip
organizer(click File > Save as. Under save as type, select web page. Look for
the midi in the output folder).

Then, create a folder. Move the ppt and midi into the folder.
Re-insert the midi. Save your presentation.
Email the midi and ppt.
