what are the best kind of files to use on frontpage

I would think mp3 is would be the best as Windows Media Player and Real
Audio Player can both handle them.

I think mp3. I'd also recommend going here:

getting the media player add in and allow the listener the ability to stop/
start/ volume etc., rather than just having it as "background music".
