Audacity studio, Krystal studio and pro tools (if you are not using xp) are
all good with massess of free tools etc. I use audacity to record and mix, it
takes a bit of getting used to and you'll need to download a wav to mp3
utility if you want to send stuff over the net but it's pretty good. I
combined the flexibility of Audacity with the vst pluginability of krystal.
Search on google for either, they are free and tres cool.
