Multple emails sent with single SEND click

Re: Outlook 2003, when I send a larger file attachment (>750kb), the file
will sit in the Outbox folder and send multiple repeating emails. It appears
to be in a loop. Anyone experience this problem and know the reason and
solution?

I have the same issue. Wonder why we suddenly cannot be helped. I would
really like to be able to have control again over how many emails are sent to
one person, instead of Outlook trying its hardest to act like it has a virus.

This is usually the result of scanning outgoing mail with an antivirus
scanner, a complete waste of time. It could also be due to a server timeout
value that is too low or a send/receive interval that is too frequent.

It still does it even with anti-virus turned off and server timeout set to 10
min. I may investigate reinstalling Outlook or repairing it to see what that
does.

It's unlikely that reinstalling or repairing Outlook will help. The problem
is that Outlook isn't receiving an acknowledgement from the server that the
server has accepted the message. You should consider enabling diagnistic
logging to see if the problem shows in the log. See this:

I'm experiencing the same problem. I'm finding it sends the same message out
about once a minute. It's been several weeks now since this started and my
email server has shut me down for attempting to spam. I've had to cancel my
use of Outlook for the moment until I can get it to work correctly.

Have you found a solution to this?

I've turned aff the AV scanning. I'll also turn off the Firewall
Integration, though I somehow think it has been off all along. Thanks.

I've tried doing both with no change in the situation. What I'd realy like
to do is to eliminate this mail message from whereever it now resides so that
I can get on with life. It doesn't happen with other messages. Do you know
where it currently may be and if there is a way I can remove it from that
file?

I'm not sure what I finally did, but I seem to have resolved my problem.
What I know I did was to install a Registry File scanner and Registry
defragmenter and run them. When I then went to Outlook it seemed to be
working as advertised.
