Multiple Tables one Query

Ok, I've read several articles, help files, yadda yadda but I can't seem to
make this work. What is the proper way to get information from two tables
into one Query or form?

By creating an appropriate two-table Query.

Since you don't say anything about the nature of the tables, how they're
related, what's in them or the like, it's hard to be more specific.
