Multiple sets of 'Archive Folders'

Office 2003, XP Pro.

I don't know how, I don't know why, but I do know what. I have 3 -
'Archive Folders' files showing in Outlook's 'All Mail Folders'
sidebar.

I want to know how to get Outlook back to having only one 'Archive
Folders' file.

Only one file has all of the archive folders in it, the other two have
a few archive folders.
 
Sounds like you have been breaking the connection to the location that
they reside at. See File, Data file management, data files to sort out
the location.
