multiple references within one footnote

How can I use one footnote and include in it multiple references to the same
subject, e.g. Author A, Book A and Author B, Book B, as allowd by the
Chicago/Turabian footnote style book?

You type the first reference, ending with a semicolon, then type the second
one, and so forth.
