Hi,

I have noticed on one of our clients mulitple versions of
PST files with the file format as Name (Name vx).pst. I
don't how these files are created or what possible
reasons are they created. The client is configured to
synchronize files from the server including pst file
using offline folders.

Thanks
PeteD

Check to see if Autoarchive is turned on, it will create pst files like that.

could be a logon script causing it or outlook 'loses' the existing pst and
makes a new one - outlook will typically create a new pst and increment the
number.
