HELLO
I HAVE XP HOME CURRENTLY ON MY COMPUTER, I PURCHASED XP PRO AND THOUGHT I
GOT AN UPGRADE,BUT GOT A COMPLETE OS. WITH XP ON MY PUTER I STARTED TO
INSTALLXP PRO AND RELIZED IT WAS A COMPLETE INSTALL. I ABORTED SET UP BECAUSE
I WAS NOT SURE WHAT TO DO. CAN XP PRO SET UPBE DELETED SMEHOW. I WAS TOLD XP
PRO WAS MORE FOR BUSINESSES THAN FOR HOME USE.
NOT SURE HOW TO PROCEED AND YOUR ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
THANKS
JOJO

You probably made the wrong choice (new installation, rather than 'upgrade'.) If you could again boot to Home, you could simply put
in the cd, and 'upgrade'.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you are past the point where the old system data files exist. There is no 'uninstall' back to Home
from a Pro 'new installation' If it had been a 'dual boot', you might still have a chance. (to a different drive, on the pro
install) You would simply complete the setup, and then remove the pro dual boot, to go back to home, and upgrade there.

Once setup has rebooted to 'starting setup', it overwrites too much to go back.

Insert the XP CD and boot to it, acept the default settings as to an
Install, and let it install full version. I would say your old files are now
useless. so it would be better to let XP reformat the drive and install a
new installation.
