multiple networks

I have a setup where I have a PC that is connected to two networks. One is a
wired LAN, which is used for the office network and for accessing our office
database. The second network is wireless, 802.11b, and it is used for
Internet access. The wired LAN also has internet access, but on a 56k
circuit compared to the high-speed wireless that we have. Here is my
problem. In outlook express, every time I try to send/receive mail, it uses
the wired LAN network to move email around, and not the wireless connection
that it should. As a result, email moves very slowly due to the 56k circuit
speed limitations. Is there a way I can "force" outlook express to use the
wireless adapter rather than use the wired LAN to move email in and out?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Yes. If you know the IP address of your E-mail server, you can define
a static route that uses the wireless connection to access that
particular IP address.

I recommend consulting with the office network administrator for
details of how to do that and how to use the wireless network safely
and in conformance with company security policies.
