multiple monitors

Hi. I hope somebody could help me....
My ATI video card supports multiple mositors, so I have my TV as a second one.
Everything works fine, except when trying to watch videos. I just get the
sound and the black screen in Windows Media Player. I have most of the needed
codecs and I am able to watch everything on my computer. Just the video is
not displayed on my TV?

Hi

this is a problem many have experenced. I guess their is a quip to do with
refresh rates which are much lower with TVs, but could i suggest you do one
of two things (or both).

1. Try another media player e.g. quicktime

2. COntact ATI support (they have been very good in the past)

Hi, thanx for the advice. I have tried any possible media, beleive me still
have the same issue.
So now, I am comunicating with ATI support

Unless it's a very high end graphiocs card it will only support video
overlay on the primary monitor. This will be the pc one. If you wish to
watch movies on the tv you'll need to make this the primary monitor and the
pc one the secondary.
