multiple monitors

hi, i ahve an xp pro and an additonal second monitor. on my secondary monitor
i have the same desktop as my primary except there are no icons. however i
cannot move anything from my first monitor to my second monitor. help is
apprecated, thanks jeff

go to Control panel > display properties > Settings (tab) and drag the 2
monitors like you want them to be.. to see which monitor is which press the
IDENTIFY button. Your monitors may be the other way arround. Just drag the
blue screens on the settings window to the place you want them to be.
