Multiple Monitors: How do I control where an application starts?

I am using Windows XP Home edition with two monitors successfully, but am
trying to figure out how I can control where an application starts when I
click on it's shortcut icon in Windows. Is this possible?

The first time you use the application, it should open in the primary
monitor, afterwards, if you drag the window to the secondary monitor and
close the application, the next time you open the application is "should"
open on the secondary monitor - at least that's how it works for me.

Unfortunately, the application that I am trying to move to the second screen
does not have the option to Move or Resize as it's a "Kiosk" type application
and takes over the full screen. I am hoping that there is a run time switch
or something that I can use to force the application to open on a particular
screen.

Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated.

Assuming you're using a multi-head video card rather than two separate
cards; one of the included software packages HydroVision, nView or some
other app should allow you to specify which apps and there dialog boxes etc.
open where.

If the kiosk app overrides that, probably out of luck; e,g, earlier ICQ's
would instantly snap back to primary, things like that.
