Multiple Mailbox notification

I'm running Outlook 2002 and have 3 mailboxes connected to a single excahnge
server. I can read and send from all 3 without problems, however I only
receive notification when new mail arrives into my own account's inbox.

I have updated outlook with the latest patches from office update. I've
also tried setting up a Rule that processes new mail when it arrives, but
this also only seems to allow the primary mailbox.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

That is how it works indeed.

You can use an add-in to get notifications when mail arrives in other
folders;
