multiple identity numbers

I am backing up my files in order to reformat my hard drive. I have found
four (4) outlook express identity numbers - all with stored information that
I want to keep. I think this happened from previous times when I had to
reformat (or maybe not!)
Anyway, is there a way to join all these identity numbers into one?
I can't open any of the .dbxs so I don't know which emails are stored with
which number.

Hi,

The .dbx are your outlook express mail folders. What you
can try to do is rename each file, keeping the .dbx
extension. Then in your current profile, add those .dbx
files to your outlook express folder. It should show up
as additional folders in the mail program.
