multiple hyperlinks

i have a word document with multiple hyperlinks in it. i need to edit the
address the hyperlinks point to. can i do them all at once or globaly or do i
need to edit them one at a time??
 
Toggle the display (ALT+F9). Use replace to change the address. Select all
(CTRL+A) then update (F9).

My needs, like Steve's, are to modify the path for several hundred hyperlinks to other documents. Using Windows XP SP2 and Word 2000, the "replace" function does not find the hyperlink addresses. I have turned off the automatic update function in Word. What else needs to be done to make this work? Thank you for any help you can provide.
