Multiple Explorer Windows

Thanks in advance. i used to be able to open internet explorer and then
minimize it and open a second internet explorer window. now i can't do it.
now if i open IE and minimize it, and try to open a second instance of IE, it
restores the first instance and goes to my homepage. i don't know what i did
or what setting i changed but if anyone can tell me how to correct this i
would appreciate it.

I wish I could get IE to do that, among all the other windows apps. - I
wonder what happens when you have a popup window?

This might help: Open Internet Options, Advanced tab, deselect "Reuse
windows for launching shortcuts".
