Multiple errors

The antispyware is coming up with multiple errors when I
pull up my start page. I am not real sure that it
continues to run without my involvement in updating. the
control panel reports it is a frequently used program and
the computer runs much faster without all the other
programs infecting it. I am just unsure if it is
functioning because it will not pull up on the page. Any
thoughts or ideas

Can you get to other web pages?

Is networking or the Internet working well otherwise--email, for example?
