multiple email profiles in Outlook 2002

Hello: When I add a second email account to Outlook 2002
I encounter problems -- it doesn't work. I have set up
new email accounts for other profiles on my Microsoft XP,
so I am sure that I have entered the correct settings.
Furthermore, SBC, my internet provider, informs me that
setting up multiple email accounts in Outlook 2002 is a
problem and I need to contact Microsoft.
