Multiple Email Accounts in Outlook 2003

Folks,

My apologies for asking what appears to have been asked before, but I just
can't find out how to do it.

I have a Freeserve e-mail address, which is in the format
(e-mail address removed). This allows me to have multiple e-mail
addresses, simply by changing the word before the '@' sign, i.e.
(e-mail address removed)

I have my own e-mail address, let's say the joe@.... above, but my wife also
wants an e-mail address, let's say the josephine@.... above.

I've created the two mail accounts, but how do I set up a rule, in Outlook
2003, to say "if the e-mail is from this account, download it, otherwise
leave it on the server"? I've tried a couple of things, but the e-mail
seems to be downloaded, regardless which e-mail profile or account I'm
using.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Duncan

outlook doesn't support downloading by address with catchall mailboxes, only
by actual account.

Rules work on mail that is downloaded, or sent. Not mail on the server.
Assuming you want to seperate his and hers mail, see OL Profiles and set
each account in a seperate Profile

Even that won't work if the second address is merely an alias of the first.
