Multiple drivers for a master image

I am looking for a way to have multiple drivers available for a master image
and not sure how to go about it. If I use the $OEM$ method for example and
copy all the video driver files(10 different kinds of video drivers) to a
video folder will XP know to grab the proper ones or should I create a
subfolder for each video driver under the video folder. The other problem I
run into is if I copy all of them to the same folder a lot of the drivers
files use a data1.cab, so it is just going to ask me if I want to overwrite.
Another method I heard of is to install the driver on the master computer,
image it and then install on the next model install any missing drivers and
then reimage it again. Wanted to know if this is possible before I go into
testing.
