Multiple downloads

I recently went to a new computer that has windows vista. When I started to
use windows mail I entered my POP ans SMTP to get my outlook express emails.
Now all I get is numerous mail downloads of my mail. I'm up to 50,000 plus of
duplicated emails. What do I do????
 
I take it you don't want the older emails downloaded from the server?
In that case, connect to the server via webmail (using your browser),
and move all the old emails from the Inbox folder to a different folder,
perhaps one you call Archive. Windows Mail can only download
whatever is in the Inbox folder of the server.
 
Thanks, I'll try that. I do want some of the past emails but it keeps
bringing down my entire emails from years ago. Now I have 5 of each email
