multiple copies of files or windows

Sometimes when I click "my Computer" it opens, then the
screen flickers and another copy of "my Computer" opens. I
have had 8 and 9 copies open at one time. This also
happens when working with files inWindows explorer. I've
had 14 copies of photo files while working with them. Ever
heard of this?

This is normal funcionality if you click on something too
much with the right potion set in folder options you will
get multiple coppies of the same folder open. Cech to
see if you have selected the option to open each folder
in its own windows. If you have there is your issue.

Try slowing down your double click speed. What I do is run with the single click option.
