In my job, we require high power workstations to perform computationally
intense simulations. As such, we purchase very large and capable
workstations that are shared resources amongst many people. In the past,
we've used UNIX machines, but we would like to switch to Windows XP Pro x64
as many of our tools support this OS. Unfortunately, this OS doesn't support
multiple concurrent remote logins, which is a standard feature of UNIX based
machines. I could upgrade to Windows Server, but IT won't allow that on the
network outside of their control. So, my question or perhaps request is:
When will concurrent remote logins be made available on Windows XP Pro x64?
