multiple calendars: focus is on wrong one

G

Gregg

Running OL2007 SP1 with Windows XP Pro SP2 and a server running Exchange
2003; I usually have my calendar and my wife's side-by-side in Outlook.
Whenever I open Outlook and go to the calendar, both calendars show, but the
focus is on her calendar, and her name even appears in the title bar of
Outlook. This also happens if 3 calendars are open - the calendar farthest
to the right in the display gains the focus. Not a huge problem, but it
leads to my sometimes entering events on the wrong calendar. Shouldn't mine
always get the focus upon opening? Thanks for any thoughts!

Thanks for the reply - that makes sense. However, every time I open Outlook
and go to the calendar, my calendar loses focus to the other one, even if my
calendar had focus when I closed Outlook previously. Is that supposed to be
that way?

the last opened calendar has focus - you'll need to select your calendar in
the navigation pane to set focus on it.
