Hello:

I have a high availability app server running with Certificate Services
installed. Certificate Services were installed a while ago when we really
didn't think we were going to be using it. At the time we only needed 1
certificate. Now I am going to be using the Certificate Server on a regular
bases. I would really like to avoid using this server. I'd like to install
Certificate Services on a different box.

Does anyone know if this will cause any problems?

Hi Harrison,

You can uninstall the Certificate Services from your machine first, and
then install it on a different machine. I have not seen a problem regarind
this.

William:

Thanks for your reply. My domain is Windows 2000 AD, but since Windows 2003
is out everything we have been deploying has been Windows 2003. Do you know
if there are any problems with deploying a Windows 2003 Enterprise Root CA
in a Windows 2000 domain. Also I am curious should I follow the 2000 CA
info or the 2003 CA info on configuring it?
