Multiple Audio

Hi all, I want to be able to put out music audio (via
Media Player, Winamp, etc) to my home stereo, while at
the same time having systems sounds or gaming sounds etc
only going to the PC speakers.

I guess want I really want to do is direct the sound from
one program only to the stereo, and all the other sounds
to the PC speakers.

Is this possible in WinXP? Would I have to get two sound
cards or go through a USB Audio device?
