Multiple attachments

When I send a email with an .JPG attachment, ms mail sends mulitiple messages
to all recepents but they cannot open the attachment and they recieve many
copies of the email.

1. Tools | Accounts | Mail | [account] | Properties | Advanced | Break
apart... (uncheck/disable)

2. Disable email scanning by your anti-virus application. It provides no
additional protection, it may be causing the problem, and even Symantec says
it's not necessary:

are distributed as email attachments. Norton AntiVirus Auto-Protect scans
incoming files as they are saved to your hard drive, including email and
email attachments. Email Scanning is just another layer on top of this. To

Auto-Protect enabled and run LiveUpdate regularly to ensure that you have
the most recent virus definitions.

Thanks, I just tried that once before and once after a reboot. Still trying
to send 34 copies. I am using Vista 64, bitdefender 9.

How large is the message in question?

to send 34 copies. I am using Vista 64, bitdefender 9.

Delete the message that is in your Outbox, and send it again.

I wish I had read more closely. Have tried it with the email virus scanning
on and it still only sends one copy. I don't have this problem on my other
2 systems (both Vista 32, bitdefender 9) but I learned something new.
