I have Windows XP Pro SP2. I installed ZoneAlarn Pro and Norton
Systemworks 2006 Premier on the PC. At startup under my ID, the program
are started and places in teh systray. On another user id, they are not
started. I tried to start ZoneAlarm from the Program Menu, but it stated
that a dll is missing from the Windows/System32 folder.

How can this be, since it works under my id? How do I get the security
software to start for each user account on the PC?

When you install a program that is designed for a multi-user operating system, you are given an option to install for all users or install for just the current logged-on user.

If the installation does not give you this option then you need to perform the installation, to the same folder, from within each user account.

Thank you for the reply. This is the issue. I created another User account
and the security package connect and work with no problem. They are
installed for use by all users. The current account for this person will not
connect to the security package or allow the use. I have also seen where it
will not start Outlook 2003. Displays a message that it is unable to start.
Under the new user id, it works fine.

Could this be a registry problem?

It sounds more like a permissions problem?

Try using the Run As feature of XP by right clicking the executable file for the program and select the Run As item and set the user account in the "Following User" section.
