multimedia audio controller?

I have the yellow exclamation thing in my device manager..i had my sound go
out when my usb cord was stepped on..since then i installed a soundblaster
card and my sound works good..is there a reason this thing is still in my
divice manager?
 
Does your M/B have on-board sound? If it does, you have to turn it off in
the computer bios when you use an add-in sound board, as you are now doing.
