multilpe envelope icons on taskbar

Hi All, whenever a new email arrives a new icon appears on the taskbar. When
the email is opened the icon doesn't disappear. This as you can image can
fill up the taskbar. It also creates a new outlook.exe process everytime. The
only way to get rid of the icons is to kill the outlook process. Any help
would be great.
Thanks, Liam.

What version of Outlook are you using?
What add-ins do you have installed?
Are you using a virusscanner that integrates with Outlook? Disable this
integration and try again.

Hi Roady, the version is Outlook 2000. It's in a citrix environment running
on Windows 2000. Of the 650 users it's only happening to 2. It's a bit odd.
I've resolved it before by blowing away the users profile but I'd rather have
a better way.
thanks,
Liam.
